Eventually the chrysalis cannot hold back the inevitable expansion; whether we are snakes or little earth worms dreaming of shedding our skins and breaking the barriers we built around our soul’s, the little cracks grow larger and harder to ignore, we exit the birth canal in a screaming fit of fright and confusion, and something beautiful and dangerous always happens; life. Hands are pulling us free and we cling to habits and the warm cocoon of complacency. Old embers of past lives and karmic hilarity are still glowing inside of us, in a quiet place that awaits to reignite. Pain, love, happiness- fear. Slowly, over passing years they fan this fame until one day, your eyes see a little more clearer, your voice has grown quieter yet the words you speak cut velvet and break a part everything that held you back, they cut the people who’ve held you back, yourself. When everything seemed impossible, I think.. you felt for a long time that breaking into what you really were was impossible. No one but you can, and will, wake you up. You keep yourself dreaming in the fog, the blanket of deceit and disenchantment you brewed on your own and how the world was never as it should have been to assist you on the way.
